A hot fudge sauce goes with anything - great for banana splits (of course!) or on top of ice-cream, or as an added luxury to a beautiful cake like the whole orange cake – it is a dessert in its own right as you could eat it straight out the jug.

Chocolate “Iced magic” sauce -
By swapping out the butter for coconut oil and using chocolate rather than cocoa, you create a sauce that firms up with the cold of the ice cream – add some spices to switch it up.
Based on a recipe by Aarti Sequeira from the Food Network website.
Create a double boiler to melt the chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a pan of simmering water – do not let the bowl touch the water.
Add the chocolate, coconut oil and a pinch of salt. Stir until the chocolate has melted and the mixture is smooth and silky. You can add your optional spices at this stage by taking the pan off the heat, adding the ginger and garam masala or whichever you are using. Stir until well combined.
Allow to cool slightly before pouring over cold ice cream.
Optional - sprinkle lightly with sea salt flakes.
Wait about 30 seconds for the chocolate to harden.
